DotSms Clothing · Clothing & shoe shops

One article. Every size, every colour, counted on its own.

DotSms Clothing runs the counter, the sizes and the books of a clothing or shoe shop in Pakistan. Enter the article once and every size and colour is made for you, each with its own barcode and its own stock — and an exchange takes one move, not an argument.

Why a shop outgrows a billing machine

Four things a clothing shop here loses money on.

A billing screen adds the bill up. It does not know that medium black is finished, what an exchange did to the stock, or whether last month made a profit. This does.

One shirt is nine items, and each one is typed in by hand

Enter the article once, choose its sizes and its colours, and every combination is made for you. Each one is stock of its own, counted on its own, and the Variant Stock Report tells you which size is finished.

An exchange becomes two arguments and a wrong bill

Record the return and the counter opens again for that same customer, with what they are owed already against them. The new bill remembers the return it came from, so both sides of it are in the books.

The same article has three barcodes, and none of them scan

An article can carry several barcodes — the maker’s and the shop’s own — and the system refuses a code that is already on something else. Labels for the shelf print from the same screen.

The shop knows its sale, not its profit

Every sale, purchase and payment writes its own entry as it happens. Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and what the shop is worth are there the same evening.

What it covers

From the first customer of the day to the Balance Sheet.

The counter, the shelf and the books are one system, so a sale at the counter and the month’s profit are the same set of records.

The counter

Scan or search, see the shelf balance on the line, take cash, bank or credit; discount per line or on the whole bill.

Size × colour

One article generates every size and colour in one go; each is its own stock, with its own barcode.

Exchange and return

A recorded return reopens the counter for that customer, and the new bill carries the link back.

Promotions

Running offers apply themselves to each line, and a cashier’s own discount still takes precedence.

Wholesale

A wholesale rate per customer, a carton price at the counter, and a credit limit the counter enforces.

Barcodes and labels

Several codes an article, the shop’s own in-store codes, and labels printed from the system.

Buying

Purchase invoice and return, a price list that fills the rate, supplier ledger and payables monitor.

The books

Cash book, day book, trial balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and net worth — written by the sales themselves.

Made for here

Why it fits a Pakistani clothing shop.

Sizes the way a shop here keeps them

Small to XXL, or 6 to 12 for shoes, in as many colours as the article comes in — generated, not typed.

Priced in rupees, by module and by branch

PKR 4,000 a branch a month for the four core modules, PKR 7,000 for all nine — no charge per counter and none per user.

No installation

It runs in Chrome or Edge on the PC already at the counter; a print agent drives the slip printer.

Retail and wholesale in one shop

Sell over the counter and to other shops from the same stock, at the rate each customer is on.

The staff cannot quietly undo a sale

Rights are per screen and per action, checked on the server; every change is recorded, and a closed day stays closed.

Built and supported from here

Made in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir by the people who answer the phone — the same company behind Dot Sms Business One.

Pricing

Two plans, in rupees, per branch per month.

No licence per counter and no licence per user. Setup, training and bringing your existing stock in are quoted with the plan.

FAQ

What owners ask before they buy.

What does clothing store software cost in Pakistan?

DotSms Clothing is sold per shop per month, in rupees: Basic PKR 4,000, Business PKR 7,000. There is no charge per counter and none per user. Setup, training and bringing your existing stock in are quoted with the plan.

How does it handle sizes and colours?

You enter the article once — the shirt, the shoe — and pick which sizes and which colours it comes in. Every combination is generated as its own item, with its own barcode and its own stock, so the Variant Stock Report can tell you that medium black is finished while large is still sitting there.

Can a customer exchange something?

Yes, and in one move. Record the return and the counter opens again for that same customer with the value already against them; the new bill carries a link back to the return, so the pair of them sit properly in the books and in the stock.

We sell retail and wholesale from the same shop.

Each customer carries the price level they buy at, so the counter shows the wholesale rate to a wholesale customer and the retail rate to everyone else — out of the same stock. A credit limit can be set per customer and the counter will not go past it.

Can I print barcode labels myself?

Yes. The system prints Code 128 labels, and it can give an article an in-store code of its own when the maker’s barcode is missing or unreadable. An article may carry more than one code, and a code already used on something else is refused.

Is this the same as Dot Sms Business One?

No. Dot Sms Business One is the restaurant system. DotSms Clothing is built for a clothing or shoe shop — sizes and colours, exchange, wholesale rates — from the same company and the same engineering, on its own. The sign-up for one will not give you the other.

Does it handle sales tax?

Tax is set per business and prints on the bill. Digital invoicing with FBR is not part of the system today — if that is a requirement for your shop, say so and we will be straight with you about the timeline.

How do we start?

Ask for a demo and we will set it up on your own articles and prices so you can see it first. Your existing items, customers, suppliers and opening stock come in from an Excel file, and the counter staff are trained on the shop floor.

Other industries: medical stores and pharmacies · fast food and restaurants · leasing and installment sales

See it on your own articles.

A demo runs on your items, your sizes and your prices — tell us about the shop and we will set it up.
